Dr. Mangesh did his schooling from Government School from his village. He is graduated from University of Pune by taking in English and Economics as a major subjects. Later, he did Diploma in Management from ICFAI, Diploma in Cyber Law from Government Law College, Mumbai, Post Graduation in Banking Technology from Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. MBA from IIT Bombay, EMBA from Washington University. Professional Doctorate (PDC) in Information Technology and European International University, Paris, Doctor of Literature (D. Litt) in Cyber Security from European International University, Paris. Looking at his contribution to the society by large and in the form of globally recognized Cyber Security Expert and Banker, Sunrise University, Rajsthan, India has conferred an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Philosophy(PhD) on him.

Background

Dr.Mangesh was born in Dingore village, Tal – Junnar, Dist – Pune, Maharashtra a small village about 92 km from Pune, and coming from a deprived family, his parents used own only 27,000 Sq.ft. non- irrigated land, so including Dr Mangesh, they all worked as laborers to meet the family’s basic needs. The days were tough, efforts were not enough to have a proper meal in a day. As, the eldest son in the family to ease the worry of his parents, he decided to work as a labourer, while schooling and continued working as a part timer while earning his degree.

Professional Career

Dr. Mangesh has over two decades of quality experience across in Information Technology, Cyber Security and Banking Sector. Before the bright beginnings of Velox, Dr. Mangesh had started his career in ERP Development for Sugar Factories in late nineties, he worked with prestigious organisation like Zenith, Deccan Bank and HDFC Bank on multiple management positions.

He always wanted to be innovative & creative in Cyber Security field. Working as a banker, after seeing many cyber threats and attacks, he decided to build a robust, indigenous Cyber Security solutions that will protect and strengthen Banking and Corporate systems.

In 2010, he left highly paid job of HDFC Bank and established Velox Solutions Pvt Ltd (www.velox.co.in). With his foresight, Velox continues to create the buzz in the Indian Cyber Security Domain. Becoming the first ever Indian Cyber Security company who developed an Enterprise class Cyber Security product suites. Velox offers cyber security tools to more than 200 customers globally. The cyber security solutions invented and developed by Velox are protecting millions of End points/Network/Servers/Data Centres. Velox is ranked No. 1 for ATM Terminal Cyber Security solutions in India and ranked 3rd worldwide. The tools developed by Velox protects banks, Government organisations and corporates from online /offline cyber threats.

Contribution To Co-operative Movement

• Dr Mangesh has started his career in Vaidyanath Sugar Factory, Parli, Beed, Mah, India., He had been part of team who had implemented India’s first Sugar ERP in the year 2000.
• During his tenure at Deccan Bank as Head of IT, he had migrated 3 different TBA vendors to one common core banking platform in 2007, Deccan Bank was among very few banks in Mumbai who had implemented CBS during that period for their customers.
• After 2010, he moved out from HDFC Bank and formed Velox Solutions Pvt Ltd. He had also served following banks in the area of Core Banking & Technology consultation’s to NABARD initiated CBS project and following.

Dr. Mangesh is an “Inventor” of Non Investment based Core Banking project, which he had first implemented at Osmanabad District Central Co-op. Bank Ltd in 2013-14, it has helped Osamanabad DDCB to get RBI License for banking operations. Later, many weak banks in the country have moved and migrated to CBS based on non-investment mode.
